I have wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as I can remember. Even before I can remember, my Mom tells me that I wandered towards any dog I saw at the park. I was always sneaking lizards, baby birds, and the occasional stray kitten home, and trying to "save" them.

Dr. Jennifer Osborne

Dr. Jennifer Osborne is a Northern California native. She began her journey into veterinary medicine at the age of 15. She initially started by working as a kennel attendant in a veterinary practice, then moved up to a veterinary assistant prior to going to college.

I was born in Cerritos, California and was raised in the Los Angeles/Orange County area. I knew that I wanted to be a veterinarian since I was in the 8th grade. For my undergraduate career, I attended Cal Poly Pomona and received a Bachelor Degree in Animal Science.

Dr. Claire Akashi

Dr. Akashi is an Orange County native who developed a love for animals by watching countless hours of Animal Planet at an early age. She volunteered at the Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific for four years, and soon after began working at an animal hospital.

Dr. Cindy Wade

Update: After 22 years at NHAH and over 40 years of practicing veterinary medicine, Dr. Wade has retired and is thoroughly treasuring all of the memories.

Brigitte

Pharmacy Assistant

Brigitte comes to us with invaluable experience in the veterinary field. She has her B.S. in Biology, and very interested in Medicinal Chemistry, which makes her a perfect fit for our Pharmacy Assistant position.

Cassidy

Registered Veterinary Technician/Practice Manager

Cassidy has been with us since 2006. She started as a kennel attendant and worked her way up to veterinary assistant before she went to school to become an RVT. Today, Cassidy is our hospital manager and is such a great support for our team.

Dawn

Registered Veterinary Technician / Inventory Manager

Dawn has been with us since 1978 and she has been a great value to our team since then. She has worn many hats during our time with us, from RVT to Operations manager, and now she works hard as our inventory manager.
