My parents tell a story about me when I was in elementary school, telling my teacher I would grow up to be a veterinarian. I have always loved animals (to my mother's displeasure when it came to snakes!). So, it should come as no surprise as I chose veterinary medicine as my career.
How I became a veterinarian: I think it had something to do with my dad saying "that girl's going to be a vet", every time he saw me light up in the presence of a dog, cat, calf, lamb, piglet, tank of fish, etc.
I always have loved animals and knew from a very young age that I would be working with animals as a career. However, I didn't quite know in what capacity when I was little.
I have wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as I can remember. Even before I can remember, my Mom tells me that I wandered towards any dog I saw at the park. I was always sneaking lizards, baby birds, and the occasional stray kitten home, and trying to "save" them.
I grew up in coastal Northern California and the west coast of Canada. I was the typical teen age girl-horse crazy. I was fortunate to have a mentor who trained horses for the Queen and was stable manager for both the British and Canadian 3 day Olympics teams.
Dr. Jennifer Osborne is a Northern California native. She began her journey into veterinary medicine at the age of 15. She initially started by working as a kennel attendant in a veterinary practice, then moved up to a veterinary assistant prior to going to college.
I was born in Cerritos, California and was raised in the Los Angeles/Orange County area. I knew that I wanted to be a veterinarian since I was in the 8th grade. For my undergraduate career, I attended Cal Poly Pomona and received a Bachelor Degree in Animal Science.
Cassidy has been with us since 2006. She started as a kennel attendant and worked her way up to veterinary assistant before she went to school to become an RVT. Today, Cassidy is our hospital manager and is such a great support for our team.
Jessica has been with us since 2001. She loves that we all work so great as a team and that her coworkers are so helpful and she considers the team a part of her family. When Jessica is not at work, she loves spending time with her kids, antique shopping, camping with family and sewing.
Breanna has been with us since 2022. She was drawn to our hospital after she was able to meet the staff and saw how warm and inviting everyone was. Breanna is a true cat lover, with seven of her own. Her goal in life is to work with animals and help be a voice for them.
Edward has been with us since 2012. He loves caring for the animals and they all love him just as much. Edward likes being able to help the veterinary assistants so he can continue to learn new skills. When Edward is not at work, he enjoys music production and sound design.
Jocelyn is a wonderful addition to our family, and so compassionate with our patients and boarders. We knew the moment we met her that she was the perfect fit by the way she wanted so badly to help care for our sick patients, and expressed that it was her lifes dream to work with animals.
Kaden has been with us since 2022. He said that his favorite thing about working here is the high standard of care and professionalism. Kaden is very familiar with the care of animals, as he has been fostering animals since he was a young boy, and has dogs and cats of his own.

Samira has been with us since 2021. She came to work with us because she has a love for animals, and a drive to pursue the field of veterinary medicine. Samira's father was a veterinarian while she was growing up, so she is very familiar with what it takes to work in a practice.
