Multiple veterinary assistants helping with newborn puppies

After a reproductive examination by Dr. Sebzda, our reproduction specialty, you may opt for a surgical insemination procedure to breed your pet. For this, your pet will be placed under a short anesthesia to allow Dr. Sebzda to place a previously collected semen sample directly into your dog's uterine horn. This method delivers the semen right where it needs to be for a successful breeding. Your pet will wake up and go home with you the same day with a small incision on her belly.

If you would like more information on this form of artificial insemination with Dr. Sebzda, please call our hospital at (949) 612-2756, or schedule an appointment.
