We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Keely McLaughlin back to Newport Harbor Animal Hospital, this time as a full-fledged veterinarian! 
An Orange County native, Dr. McLaughlin began her journey into veterinary medicine in 2016 as a volunteer at a local animal shelter. Her passion for animal care only grew stronger as she worked in veterinary clinics throughout college, eventually leading her to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
After graduating, Dr. McLaughlin joined the Newport Harbor Animal Hospital team as a veterinary assistant, where she deepened her love for the profession. Her journey continued at Western University of Health Sciences, where she earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine with highest honors. While in veterinary school, Dr. McLaughlin discovered a passion for holistic healing and became certified in small animal acupuncture through Chi University.
We are proud to welcome her back to our hospital, now as an associate veterinarian. Dr. McLaughlin brings not only outstanding medical expertise, but also a deep-rooted commitment to compassionate, whole-pet care.
