Dr. Tom Carpenter
Raised in upstate New York, Dr. Tom Carpenter received his DVM degree from Iowa State University in 1980. He began his veterinary practice in Morgan Hill California prior to coming to Newport Harbor in 1985. Dr. Carpenter's chief interests include Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Veterinary business management and he is the current President of the American Animal Hospital Association. (AAHA)

Dr. Carpenter is married with two sons and enjoys playing golf and running. His proudest athletic accomplishments include running more than thirty marathons, participating in the Boston Marathon twice and completing five Ultra Marathons.
